Red Light Therapy and Women's Health

A Conversation with Kay Aubrey-Chimene from Photonic Therapy Institute

In this episode, I had a fascinating conversation with Kay Aubrey-Chimene, the Founder of the Photonic Therapy Institute, also known as the 'Light Lady.' We dove deep into the world of photobiomodulation and photopuncture, uncovering the many benefits of light therapy. Kay shared her personal journey of using light therapy, starting with healing her horse and then herself, showing just how diverse the applications of light therapy can be.

We explored how light therapy can support women's health, fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum care. Kay emphasized the importance of targeted light therapy and how different colors and wavelengths impact cellular function and healing. It’s all about using the right light in the right way!

We also discussed the use of light therapy for surgery recovery, injury healing, and addressing various women's health issues. Kay is a strong advocate for its safe and effective application, urging more awareness around this powerful tool.

I also jumped in to share my thoughts on how light therapy can benefit various medical and wellness contexts, particularly its role in reducing pain, improving circulation, and promoting cellular repair. We also touched on its potential to help with adhesions from cesarean births. A crucial point we discussed was the need for better insurance coverage and education on light therapy so more people can access its benefits.
