Giga Laser and Fertility - European Results

In this podcast episode, I had the pleasure of chatting with Danish physiotherapist Anne Marie Jensen about her incredible experience using red light therapy and laser, also known as photobiomodulation, to support fertility in both women and men. Anne Marie's journey with laser therapy started over 20 years ago when she first used it to treat her regular physiotherapy patients for issues like knee pain and shoulder injuries.

But things took a surprising turn when a woman came to her clinic seeking fertility treatments. Anne Marie was initially skeptical—she even thought the woman might be a bit out there—but agreed to give it a shot. To her amazement, after a few treatments, the woman called to say she was finally pregnant! That success story got Anne Marie curious, and she began exploring the use of laser therapy for fertility. She shared her case with an international laser discussion group, and to her surprise, responses poured in from around the world. Many practitioners had been using laser therapy for fertility with great success!

Anne Marie dove deep into research and started seeing more and more fertility patients. She explained that photobiomodulation works by stimulating the mitochondria in cells, giving them more energy to function at their best. This is especially important for fertility, as it helps with the processes eggs need to go through to achieve a successful pregnancy. She’s also seen promising results in conditions like PCOS, endometriosis, and scar tissue.

In her clinic, Anne Marie usually recommends around 16 laser therapy sessions for those struggling to conceive. She’s found it particularly effective for women over 40, giving them renewed hope! For younger women, she often starts with other aspects, such as exercise, nutrition or scar tissue treatment, before turning to laser therapy.

Overall, our conversation was filled with hope and excitement for what red light therapy can offer those on their fertility path. Anne Marie’s passion and expertise truly shine through, and it's clear she’s making a difference with her Giga laser in Denmark.
